Happy Freedom Day!

 

Happy Independence Day!

Today I recognize that I live in the most blessed country in the world.    I also know that there is only one reason we have been blessed - for honoring God in the beginning.    The entire motive of those who started this great nation was to worship God and not bow down to a king.  They were brave and not afraid to stand up for their freedom.    God honored their desire and He blessed their land.

My prayer for this country is that we will stand up for our freedom, that we will get back to honoring God in all ways, and that we will not allow a dictator to change things.   I pray the uninformed will grow silent and that the good guys will rise to the top.    I pray God will shake those who need shaking.
I pray He will elevate those who honor Him.    I pray we will get back to being a country that honors God and puts Him first.   Then HE will grant us freedom and bless this land.
